After coming back to the Philippines for a business trip, I also gave time to meet up with several of my high school classmates at SHAN. The intention of the meeting was to talk about future planning of a grand reunion. It was held at (more…)

Rina of SHALL ‘87 has a lot of updated photos. Check the SHALL ‘87 photos and of course one reason I like going to this site also even if I am not from SHALL ‘87 is the New Wave Videos. Check them out.

It is confirmed, the photos of this person in a Metro Manila Authority (Metro Aide) uniform is a graduate of SHAN batch ‘90.

What? Naging Metro Aide s’ya? Aba maipagmamalaki natin talaga! He keeps the community clean, nice and green.

Teka, hindi naman ‘yan Metro Manila? Hindi since San Juanico bridge? Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, USA. Aba, I love Philippines talaga ’sya! Sana P.E. t-shirt ng Sacre na lang sinuot n’ya! haha
I heard his name is Neil but I didn’t get his last name. And confirmed by many people I talked to, he is a graduate of batch 1990 at Sacred Heart Academy of Novaliches.

Rina has a good collection of photos on the SHALL ‘87 website. Here is a one of the many photos, a photo during one of the reunions last May 28, 2006.

More photos of Batch 1978 of Sacred Heart Academy La Loma could be found here. This is a great place to visit also if you are into new wave music.

During the late 1970’s I still remember SHALL was once called SHAR. And the SHAR name has been outgrown already. Annabelle Suralbo Lucido posted in the Forum that it has been her task in getting all batchmates contact info and I am sure we would be glad to help her out. If you are from batch 1978, here are the people to contact so the 30th year homecoming would be more successful and made a reality:

You all know what to do with the [at] , just replace them with @ since this is just to minimize (even a little bit), the amount of unwanted emails since there are programs that crawl the internet searching for emails that automatically sends emails that you place directly in the junk folder.

This site is powered by Wordpress and this server by default runs on PHP4.4. But the forum plugin which runs our forum, requires PHP5.x so as an exception to the server default, this server runs PHP5.2 and it caused some 301 redirect problems. Which was resolved by upgrading the Wordpress from 2.0.5 to 2.1.2.
Now, new problems exist. The theme seems to be outdated and not compatible with Wordpress 2.1.2 since link categories and post categories are combined. Aside from that the pages on the top bar are missing. While these problems are not yet fixed since I have tons of websites to fix also, there is a contact us page and forum page not displaying. If you need to view these, you can simply click on the links below:

Happy New Year! Wow, my first, ever write-up! I had been wanting to post for a long while, but work and social commitments got in the way over the past month.
So…this, again, feels like creating a blog for the very first time. I don’t have much to write about, so allow me to throw out words in random.
…Thanks to Super Turon and whoever thought of putting up this blog. It wasn’t my intention to be a contributing writer, but since ST already gave me author privileges and I felt Batch 99 needed “some” representation (Feeling!), okay, so I went for it! Haha!
By the way, it was just by accident that I discovered this, and honestly, it surprised me that somebody was patient enough to constantly update fellow alumni with events such as the just concluded reunion.
…And speaking of, I congratulate all the dedicated people behind the Batch 95 Grand Reunion! I was part of an organizing committee for an alumni homecoming back in college, and it was unforgettably one of the toughest activities we ever put up. So I can imagine all the STRESS and ISSUES they faced left and right. But look at those photos! I bet Batch 95 spent one HELLUVA fun time! Some look familiar - Mrs. Montevirgen, Ms. Domingo, and Mrs. Arreola! The others, I don’t recognize, so kill me na!
We look forward to seeing more photos and reading some reunion highlights.
…We are counting two more years ’til our much-anticipated reunion, so I’m calling on creative schoolmates / batchmates to help out in the planning. This time, I hope that we can tap on the professional expertise (Yeeesss!) of friends who now work in events planning, PR, and the creative fields to help conceive a grand theme. Feel free to send your suggestions on the Batch 99 Yahoogroup!
Alright, I can sense that this first post is sensible enough. I wish that everybody’s much in-love, happy, and healthy in 2007! And before I go, ONE BIG SHOUT-OUT TO BATCH 99!!!

Just some photos I found on Friendster. I am not from batch 1995, but I decided to post them. I am sure our SHAN batch 1995 will probably have some better photos to post later on.
Looks like you guys had a nice time. Other batches, other branches, feel free to send in your photos of your reunions and for reunion announcements, just interact with us in the forum.
