The Guidance and Counseling Center in coordination with the Admission Office organized a seminar-workshop for guidance counselors of the Colegio’s feeder schools on October 10 at the St. Thomas Audio-Visual Room.

Sacred Heart Academy of Novaliches Batch 95 Reunion Announcement

December 18th, 2006

I’m Roselle Collado (4A) from SHAN Batch 95. The batch officers wishes to announce the upcoming reunion. Thank you!

Dear SHAN Batch 95,

Greetings!

There will be a Grand Reunion of SHAN Batch ‘95 this coming January 6, 2007 with a theme: Revisit… Renew… Respond: SHAN Batch 95 Grand Reunion for a Cause. It will be held at the school’s covered court from 7:00pm to 12:00 midnight. While it will be a time of great fun reminiscing our final year at SHAN and renewing bonds of friendships, it will also be a time where we could respond to one or few of our school’s needs. This is the reason why the upcoming reunion is with a cause, and the enthusiasm of this letter.

We are requesting you as members of Batch ‘95 to be part of this great event either by gracing the occasion with your presence or by financially supporting it. If you are attending the reunion, we encourage you to secure a ticket now. Ticket price is only P500.00/head. But if you are living abroad and it would be impossible for you to be with us physically, we are appealing for financial assistance. Any amount will surely be of great help to carry out the purpose of our grand reunion.

Funny, someone was searching for SHAP and added 2006, haha, maybe they were thinking the new SHAP 2006 website will come out higher than this in Google. Some people adding Official Website to SHAN thinking the official website will come out maybe higher than this site in Google.

But don’t get me wrong, I am not against any of the schools, SHALL, SHAN or SHAP. This website is actually made to help promote the school that brought us great experiences in our lives.

If you are an alumni of any of the Sacred Heart Schools mentioned owned by the Keirulf’s and Zabarte’s and would like to share you precious memories of the school, your alma mater. Just place a comment below that you wish to be a contributing writer. Mention the school you attended and what batch were you. We wish to have at least 1 person per batch per school, that would be great! Hard to do, but I believe would be easy to achieve with your help. If you know someone willing to write their memorable moments at Sacre, or their talk about their reunions or wants to announce their reunions, inform them to contact me, turon[at]sacredheartacademy.net and we will prepare a login and password for you to post on this website. If you have videos and photos of reunions of memories at school, that would be great!

The New Sacred Heart Academy Pasig Website

October 23rd, 2006

Sacred Heart Academy Pasig’s Website has a new look and feel. Nice to know they have a new website so they can abandon the very cheap looking Old Officlal Website of Sacred Heart Academy Pasig since this really looked bad. It look so unprofessional and was made by some neice or nephew of a friend of a friend of their next door neighbor.

The New Official Website of Sacred Heart Academy Pasig now has a more professional look and feel. Using the Green and Red (Some what Marronish) colors. They got a more professional domain as well, using the .edu.ph extension. Webmaster design standard freaks would still say it is not good enough since it is not tableless CSS, currently has 32 W3C HTML Validation Errors, has a high code to content ratio, Flash rollover navigation is not spider crawlable, but other than that, the new Sacred Heart Academy Pasig website seems to look way better than how it was before. Kudos to Director Jose Antonio F. Kierulf.

Photos from my recent visit to Sacred Heart Academy of Novaliches

Bell na! Pila na lahat!

Bell na! Pila na lahat sa basketball court. You may notice the students may not look as many as before for some of you who graduated in the 90’s but actually the student population is actually bigger. But lunch breaks and recess are no longer done at the same time. This solves some space issues.

The covered court at Sacred Heart Academy of Novaliches

This covered basketball court is not new at all, but for many graduates of Sacred Heart Academy in the 90’s and back, did not have this privilege. So people playing basketball during recess still sweat, but not as bad as it was before where you will really smell bad after playing and going back to the classroom.

Laro pa tayo ng isa pang game?

Two students waiting at half of the basketball court as the rest of the players are on the other side. Nothing seemed to change. Boys sweat a lot in highschool and smell like sh*t after recess. And they just don’t care about it.

Girls just sitting down

And girls just sit down. Probably talking about the school heartrob at Sacred Heart Academy of Novaliches.

Takbuhan sa Sacre

If boys are not playing basketball, they still run around, mataya-taya, agawan base, speedy, whatever. Since today they have IDs around their necks, ayun, nahuli sya.

Left his bag

Basta laro sa recess. Yung bag ko, wala akong pakialam, iwan ko na lang sa court. :)

Over the bakod?

During your stay at Sacre, Novaliches. Bawal lumabas ‘di ba? Nag ober-da-bakod ka ba?

Straight line please

Deretcho n’yo daw pila nyo.

The Logo

“Praise to you oh Sacred Heart Academy…” teka… iba na daw ang SHAN hymm? Copy please, lyrics, plus MP3.
